DESCRIPTION
Gianni Veneziano and Luciana Di Virgilio design a contemporary carpet that is a tribute to the Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri, one of the greatest poets of Italy and the West. This hand-knotted wool rug depicts Dante’s inferno. The human figures are those of the damned, whose bodies represent the architecture of the various circles of hell.
