DESCRIPTION
Gianni Veneziano and Luciana Di Virgilio design a contemporary rug that is a tribute to the Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri, one of the greatest poets of Italy and the entire West. In this hand-knotted wool rug, Dante’s inferno is depicted. The human figures are those of the damned, whose bodies depict the architecture of the various circles of hell.
