DESCRIPTION
Mark Rothko was one of the greatest interpreters of abstract expressionism. Marco Carini pays him a heartfelt tribute with this modern carpet, inspired by the art of the famous American painter. The carpet is also remarkable from the point of view of its construction: the fibres are “rustic” and the colour has not been homogeneously penetrated into the hemp, following the stylistic style of the painters known as “colour field”.
