DESCRIPTION
Lorenzo Damiani creates a truly unique conceptual carpet. The design of a traditional pattern is “dried” until it becomes pure synthesis, a suggestion of stylised lines, a hypothesis rather than a graphic proposal. The carpet thus becomes a square grid, whose only variations – given by a few curves and edges – are obtained by elastic bands placed under tension.
