DESCRIPTION
The contrast between the black background of this contemporary rug and the grey that draws the roses in the pattern is both striking and decorative. Hand-knotted in Nepal and made of wool and silk, this floral carpet seems to present the roses as if they were a photographic negative. Yet the flowers are there, in all their clear evidence, so much so that you can almost smell them.
